Difference in Quantity of Results Google vs. Bing

I was conducting some analysis today and entered nine company names into both Google and Bing. Here are the counts of results for both with each letter representing a different company name:


I was surprised to see Google finding so many more results in most instances, but then fewer in two. Strangely, the number of results doesn’t seem to be a factor as A is close to D and H, and B is close to G.

Will need to continue to watch this moving forward, particularly how the same company changes over time.
